Licensed Psychologists
Steven A. Sternlof, Ph.D.
​
Dr. Sternlof is a Licensed Psychologist in the State of Florida. He is also a Licensed Health Service Psychologist in Oklahoma, as well as having an Interjurisdictional Practice Certificate (IPC) from the Association of State and Provincial Psychology Boards (ASPPB). He has more than twenty years experience conducting psychological testing and evaluations as well as mental health treatment for children, adolescents, adults and families. He earned his doctorate from the University of Oklahoma in Counseling Psychology and completed his clinical internship at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center working in Pediatrics, Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences, and the VA Medical Center.
Dr. Sternlof conducts psychological and neuropsychological evaluations with children, adolescents, and adults to assess for a variety of mental health conditions. He serves as an expert evaluator in select Court cases, and conducts fitness for duty evaluations, working with the Department of Defense and the Military Entrance Processing Command. Dr. Sternlof is an appointed member of the State Board of Examiners of Psychologists for Oklahoma, and served on the conference planning committee for ASPPB.

Maria Lopez, Ph.D.

Dr. Lopez obtained her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Nova Southeastern University and completed her clinical internship at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.

Dr. Lopez previously served as an assistant professor in the department of psychiatry at the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine. Her areas of expertise include health psychology, trauma, couples and family therapy. She is proficient in cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and mindfulness based techniques for the treatment of mood disorders.

William Dorfman, Ph.D., ABPP

Dr Dorfman serves as an advisor and consultant to Psychology Specialists of Florida. He is an accomplished psychologist with a successful practice that included diagnostic psychological evaluations, counseling and psychotherapy to adolescent, adult and senior populations. He is board certified in Clinical Psychology and is Emeritus Professor of Psychology at Nova Southeastern University. He has over 40 years of experience in treating individuals and couples with a broad range of therapeutic interventions.
Dr Dorfman received his Ph.D. from the Ohio State University and served as a clinical psychologist in the US Army Medical Service Corps."
